GREENCASTLE -- With weather and other delays during the week, it took nearly five days, but Greencastle baseball completed a two-game sweep of county rival North Putnam with a 15-2 win in five innings Friday night.

The Tiger Cub (2-0, 2-0 WCC) offensive outburst was keyed by a number of players. Andy Bell collected a double and a triple, with Landon Miller and Ryan Pettit each picking up doubles as well. Ryan Battin added a pair of singles.

Pat Richardson had a big night with four RBIs.

Keegan Remsburg had a good night on the hill, keeping the Cougars (0-3, 0-2 WCC) off balance all night. The hurler pitched the complete game, allowing five hits and one hit batsman. He struck out eight Cougars.

No statistics were available for North Putnam.

Greencastle hosts Brown County at 11 a.m. today.
