Putnam County Jail

Wooley D. Campbell, 35, Cloverdale, was booked into the Putnam County Jail at 8:36 p.m. Tuesday for battery.

Daniel J. Cull, 28, Cloverdale, was booked at 7 p.m. Tuesday for violation of probation.

Carrieann L. Lefary, 36, Indianapolis, was booked at 2:23 p.m. Wednesday for failure to appear.

Putnam County Sheriff's Department

The following accidents have been reported by PCSD.

Jacob H. Camacho Jr., of Cloverdale, was stopped at a stop sign at the intersection of Market and Grant streets in Cloverdale, when a vehicle driven by Dustin W. Huber of Cloverdale made a left turn and caught the front edge of Camacho's vehicle.

The accident occurred at 3:42 p.m. Tuesday. There was an estimated $1,001 to $2,500 in damages.

Christina L. Flores of Avon was driving on Heritage Drive in Fillmore at 11:29 p.m. Saturday, when the vehicle she was operating struck a driveway culvert, damaging the block surface around it.

Sheriff's deputy David Allison responded to the accident scene, but the vehicle had left. Allison contacted Hendricks County dispatch and Danville police stopped Flores' vehicle.

Flores admitted to Deputy Allison she had left the scene. She was cited for leaving the scene of an accident with property damage, no adult in the front seat while operating a vehicle with a learner's permit and operating an unsafe vehicle, as it had sustained "severe" front-end damage.

There was an estimated $2,501 to $5,000 in damages.

Laura J. Fischer of Rockville was traveling east on US 36 at 6:45 a.m. Tuesday when her vehicle struck a deer. There was an estimated $2,501 to $5,000 in damages.

Danny C. Rogers of Monrovia was traveling south on Victory Hill in Bainbridge at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, when the top of his semi-tractor trailer caught a low telephone wire, causing the pole to break in two. Rogers stayed inside the vehicle until it was deemed safe, as the telephone lines were draped across the cab and trailer.

Floyd Township personnel assisted at the scene. There was an estimated $1,001 to $2,500 in damages.

Greencastle Fire Department

Crews were dispatched to 508 S. Jackson St. for an active alarm at 10:50 p.m. Tuesday for an active alarm. They were back in service at 11 p.m.

Crews were dispatched to Veteran's Memorial Highway at 7:45 a.m. Wednesday for a three-car accident. They assisted with vehicle towing and clean up. They were back in service at 8:27 a.m.

Crews were dispatched to 208 Olive St. at 9:49 a.m. Wednesday, but were disregarded by DePauw University Security. They were back in service at 9:51 a.m.

Greencastle Police Department

The following accident has been reported by GPD:

Richard Arnold of Cloverdale was attempting to pull onto Indiana Street from Liberty Street at 5:40 p.m. Friday, when his vehicle collided with a vehicle traveling north on Indiana Street, operated by Christopher Skillern of Coatesville.

Arnold was cited for traveling the wrong way on a one-way street. Jerry's Wrecker Service towed Skillern's vehicle. There was an estimated $2,501 to $5,000 in damages.

The following tickets were issued by GPD:

Shelley D. Parks, 40, Greencastle, was stopped on N. Indiana Street at 2:30 p.m. April 22 and cited for operating a vehicle with a suspended license, prior.

Thomas Mills, 73, Greencastle, was stopped on Percy Julian Drive at 2:35 p.m. April 23 and cited for driving without a seatbelt.

Marcus McCombs, 23, Greencastle, was stopped on Indianapolis Road at 7:26 p.m. April 23 and cited for operating a vehicle without insurance.

Dhruv Bansal, 20, Bloomington, was stopped on Bloomington and Washington streets at 8:22 p.m. April 23 and cited for disregarding automatic signal.

James Blankenship, 25, Poland, was stopped on Fillmore Road at 9:33 p.m. April 23 and cited for driving with a suspended license.

Dustin Towers, 18, Greencastle, was stopped on Hanna Street at 11 p.m. April 23 and cited for violation of learner's permit.

Joy Ofeoluwaooguntimein, 23, Maryland, was stopped on S. Bloomington Street at 1:28 a.m. Sunday and cited for speeding -- 58 mph in a 30 mph zone.
