CD release party at Swizzle Stick

GREENCASTLE -- Blues Side Up, featuring local musicians Steve St. Pierre, Jonathan January, Alejandro Puga and Rick Provine, has just released its debut EP "Grey."

To promote the disc, they'll be playing a CD release party from 9 p.m. to midnight Friday at the Swizzle Stick.

Not only will the disc be available at the show, but local audiences will have the chance to hear the songs, as well as many others, performed live.

Produced by George Marinelli and featuring organist-keyboardist Reese Wynans, the band recorded "Grey" at Marinelli's Wingding studios in Nashville, Tenn. in April.
