Edmund E. Ferguson, 81, Rockville, passed away Wednesday, May 26, 2010 in Union Hospital Clinton.

He was born Aug. 18, 1928 in Veedersburg, the son of Edmund Leo Ferguson and Etoral Hankins Ferguson.

He was a doctor of chiropractor for 58 years. He graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractor in 1951. He was a member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Rockville, Eagles and Moose Lodge of Crawfordsville, Rockville Elks Club, life member of the Democratic party, Montezuma Fish and Game Club, graduate of Marshall High School class of 1946.

He was an avid gardener, fisherman and loved playing cards, fishing in Florida for over 30 years, loved his family, grandkids and great-grandkids and had a great passion for his profession.

On June 21, 1952, he married Donna N. Elder and she survives.

He is also survived by his daughters and sons-in-law Jana and Steve Hopf of Celina, Ohio and Jamie and Mike Baird of Rockville; son and daughter-in-law Dr. Jon J. and Pam Ferguson also of Rockville; grandchildren Matthew (Kourtney) Hopf, Mitchell Hopf, Mark Hopf, Amanda (Justin) Furr, Audra (Kevin) Allen, Jon Adam Ferguson, Jennafer Baird, Jessica Baird and Billy Baird; great-grandchildren Jonah, Paige, Adelaide, Lily Hopf and Thomas Jon Furr; sister and brother-in-law Marceline R. and Dale Richardson of Jacksonville, Fla.; brother and sister-in-law Dr. Dennis R. and Donna Ferguson of Cynthiana, Ky.; aunt and uncle Namoi and Bill Rutkowski of Georgetown, Ill.; and several nieces and nephews.

Mass of the Christian Burial will be at 11:15 a.m. Saturday at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Rockville with Father Joseph Villa officiating. Burial will follow in Memory Garden Cemetery.

Visitation will be Friday from 4 to 8 p.m. at Butler Funeral Home with rosary at 3:30 p.m.
