Putnam County Jail

Dapheny L. Allen, 19, Terre Haute, was booked into the Putnam County Jail at 9:14 p.m. Friday for operating a vehicle with a suspended license and on outstanding warrants.

Alan Bierbaum, 28, no city listed, was booked at 11:45 a.m. Friday for operating a vehicle with a suspended license.

Dana L. Couch, 46, Cloverdale, was booked at 11:04 p.m. Saturday for burglary, criminal trespassing, theft and violation of probation.

Roberta A. Crawley, 70, Bainbridge, was booked at 3:50 p.m. Saturday for operating a vehicle while intoxicated.

Susan Ewing, 53, Greencastle, was booked at 11:32 a.m. Friday for resisting law enforcement, disorderly conduct and violation of probation.

Jay C. Hopkins, 43, Greencastle, was booked at 2:50 a.m. Monday for domestic battery.

Joseph A. Hynes, 39, Indianapolis, was booked at 4:36 p.m. Friday for failure to appear.

Kathryn D. Jarrell, 21, Brazil, was booked at 1:20 p.m. Sunday for possession of paraphernalia and on a warrant.

Krisandra K. Jones, 41, Indianapolis, was booked at 12:10 a.m. Sunday for operating a vehicle while intoxicated and public intoxication.

Eugene Kestner, 31, Indianapolis, was booked at 9:30 p.m. Sunday for invasion of privacy.

Janet L. Montagne, 49, Terre Haute, was booked at 11:23 p.m. Friday for battery, public intoxication and on a warrant.

Cody A. Wade, 19, Poland, was booked at 2:20 a.m. Monday for possession of paraphernalia and consumption of alcohol by a minor.

Putnam County Sheriff's Department

Eric S. Embry of Bloomington was traveling on CR 100E at 7:30 a.m. Thursday, when his vehicle struck the back of a vehicle operated by Darrell G. Nichols of Fillmore, who was stopped to make a left turn.

Jerry's Wrecker Service towed Embry's vehicle from the scene. There was an estimated $2,501 to $5,000 in damages.

Wesley W. January of Indianapolis was traveling east on CR 875S near Cloverdale at 4 p.m. Monday, when he swerved to avoid a dog in the roadway. He was cited for operating a vehicle with a suspended license infraction and without insurance.

Steele's Wrecker Service towed his vehicle from the scene. There was an estimated $1,001 to $2,500 in damages.

Greencastle Fire Department

Crews were dispatched to 309 W. Franklin St. at 7:47 p.m. May 27 for power lines down. They were back in service at 8:05 p.m.

Crews were dispatched to 403 E. Seminary St. at 3:19 p.m. May 28 for a fire alarm. They were back in service at 3:23 p.m.

Crews were dispatched to 841 Indianapolis Road at 2:46 p.m. Saturday for a motor vehicle accident. They were back in service at 3:01 p.m.

Crews were dispatched to 109 W. Hanna St. at 9:53 p.m. Monday for an alarm. They were disregarded before leaving the station and back in service at 9:54 p.m.

Crews were dispatched to US 231 and 240 at 10:47 a.m. Tuesday for a motor vehicle accident. They were back in service at 11:17 a.m.

Greencastle Police Department

Merrill Church of Greencastle was driving east on Indianapolis Road at 2:43 p.m. May 29, when his vehicle struck the back of a vehicle operated by Steven Hunter of Greencastle, which was stopped to make a turn into Headley Hardware store.

There was an estimated $2,501 to $5,000 in damages.

A.J. Monnett, 26, Greencastle, was stopped by GPD on Shadowlawn Avenue at 10:37 a.m. Saturday and cited for displaying incorrect plates or false registration.
