Running for A Cause

A group with Putnam County Comprehensive Services greets Greencastle Police Captain Charles Inman Jr., and four other Greencastle officers at a stop for water Friday during the 2.3-mile Special Olympics torch run. Inman and his running partners Chris Jones, Darrell Bunten, Assistant Chief Brian Hopkins and Michael Collins began carrying the torch at Area 30 Career Center and crossed the finish line at Putnam County Comprehensive Services. Putnam County FOP hosted the run.

  • I agree! These guys each do so much behind the scenes...It's fantastic.

    From offering CPR courses, carseat giveaways and installations," Shop with a Cop" programs mentoring and teaching in the schools, to even self-defense training to Domestic Violence survivors---These local guys do great things that most will never see..

    A big, continuous thank you to the GPD guys!!!
