Carroll Whicker Burdsall

Carroll Whicker Burdsall, 79, Stilesville, passed away Wednesday, June 16, 2010 at The Waters of Greencastle.

Born July 31, 1930 in Stilesville to Victor and Clarice Whicker Burdsall, he had retired as a supervisor at Allison Division of G.M. after 31 years and owned Team Burdsall used car dealership in Stilesville for 25 years.

He loved and followed the New York Yankees for more than 50 years and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Amo.

He is survived by his wife Marilyn McElwee Burdsall and sons Brian Burdsall, David Burdsall and Eric Burdsall, as well as many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Hays Funeral Home, Coatesville, with calling from noon to the hour of service. Burial will follow at Stilesville Cemetery.
