No injuries reported in military semi accident

Thursday, July 22, 2010
A U.S. Military transport semi tractor carrying two passengers overturned as it was heading southbound on U.S. 231 South at Plessinger's Hill near Faith Walkers Community Church Wednesday afternoon. No injuries were reported, and no other vehicles were involved. Three members of the Putnam County Sheriff's Department, including Sheriff Steve Fenwick, reported that the call to investigate the overturned vehicle came at around 4:20 p.m. Cpl. John Chadd said the vehicle likely overturned because it lost control turning around a corner when roads were slick. Further details will become available after police file a report Thursday morning, according to PCSD officials.

  • Wow, give the driver a break, they give more to our country than most. I'm sure it was an honest mistake and accidents do happen.

#1 "A little learning is a dangerous thing. Drink deep, or taste not the Pierian Spring; there shallow draughts intoxicate the brain and drinking largely sobers us again." Apply to many of your posts - you have some good points at times - but refer back to #1 often.

So what do you do to help your country? Obviously not join military. You are probably one of those that ride the bumper of a large truck screaming at them to get out of your way. You must be so much more important. Especially at 20 years old.
