Tiger Cubs lose to Knights in three sets

The Greencastle volleyball team suffered a three set loss to Northview to open the 2010 season Tuesday. The Tiger Cubs lost 10-25, 4-25 and 11-25.

Head coach Liz Spencer noted Kandice Phillips led the team with serving aces, while Erika Davies led the team in blocking. She also said Phillips was one of Greencastle's offensive threats on the night.

Spencer also praised Kara Birt for both her offensive and defensive game.

The junior varsity also lost in three sets to the Knights.
