Putnam County Sheriff's Department

* Aug. 15, 9:35 p.m.: Michael J. Dale, 19, Greencastle, was headed northwest on CR 525W in a 2006 Pontiac GSI when a deer ran into the roadway. Dale was unable to avoid the collision.

Damage estimate $1,001-$2,500.

* Aug. 15, 5:55 a.m.: Rick D. Volheim, 55, Cloverdale, was northbound on CR 825E in a 2010 Chevrolet Avalanche. A black and white cow owned by Darin Buis was in the middle of the roadway, and Volheim was unable to avoid the collision.

Vehicle was towed by Steele's. Damage estimate $10,001-$25,000.

* Aug. 17, 11:30 a.m.: Richard O. Bradley, 82, Poland, was northbound on US 231, approaching the intersection with Mill St. in Cloverdale in a 2007 Chevrolet Colorado. Bradley looked over to see gas prices and did not notice the 1999 Chevrolet 1500 driven by Rebecca A. Pinkerton, 59, Poland, waiting to make a left turn. Bradley's vehicle rearended Pinkerton's.

Damage estimate $1,001-$2,500.

David Andrew Burger, 45, Terre Haute: Failure to appear, probation violation, Aug. 17, 3:04 p.m.

Joel David Cumbee, 31, Greenfield: Probation violation, Aug. 13, 10:36 a.m.

Michael Wade Davis, 21, Cloverdale: Violation of home detention, Aug. 15, 5:43 p.m.

William Patrick Fowler, 26, Bainbridge: Operating while intoxicated, Aug. 15, 4:35 a.m.

David Galloway, 47, Rockville: Probation violation, Aug. 19, 1:05 p.m.

William Aton Grogan, 33, Cloverdale: Possession of paraphernalia, possession of syringe, possession of schedule 2 drug, Aug. 17, 8:05 a.m.
