Sheriff asking for public's help in locating missing female
SCOTT COUNTY -- The Scott County Sheriff's Department is investigating the disappearance of Nina Rae Keown. She has been missing since the late evening hours of Saturday, Aug. 7. Authorities are concerned about her safety due to the fact she has not been seen by or contacted any family members or friends since the date of her disappearance.
Nina Rae Keown is a white female, age 26, 5'- 6" tall and 100 pounds. She has blue eyes, blonde hair and was last seen wearing an orange hooded pull-over and blue jeans. She was last seen near Plymouth Road in Lexington, Ind. at a music festival, (Lexington is located in southeastern Scott County). All attempts to find Nina in the Lexington area have been unsuccessful so deputies are expanding their search.
Scott County Sheriff, John Lizenby stated, "Nina could be anywhere in Indiana and we want everyone to be familiar with who she is."
Investigators are urging anyone who sees Nina Rae Keown to please contact their local authorities and report it immediately.
