Greencastle advances to regional

BRAZIL -- The Greencastle girls' golf team advanced to the Martinsville Regional after posting a score of 373 in the Northview Sectional Saturday.

The Tiger Cubs shattered the school record by 21-strokes, which was set at the conference tournament Sept. 11. Chelsea Samuels led the Tiger Cubs with an 83.

Also advancing to the regional will be Cloverdale's Sydney Shrum after firing an 89.

The Martinsville Regional will take place Saturday at Foxcliff Golf Course. The golfers will tee off at 10 am.
