Cloverdale announces school calendars for October
Below are upcoming events at school districts across the county for the month of October:
Cloverdale High School
Oct. 1: Herff Jones will take ring orders during lunch
Oct. 6: National Art Honor Society will hold its annual initiation, 6 p.m.
Oct. 7: Teen Speak will meet during second period in room 6
Oct. 8: Illinois College representative will be in the Knoy Center during lunch.
Air Force representative is scheduled during lunch
Oct. 9: CHS band will go to ISSMA Festival Band Contest at Franklin High School
Oct. 11: Air Force representative is scheduled during lunch
Oct. 12: Senior pictures/retakes
Oct. 13: PSAT a.m. testing in the café for grades 10 and 11
Oct. 14: Teen Speak will meet during third period in the Knoy Center
Fire drill, third period
Franklin College representative will be at CHS, Knoy Center, 10:55 a.m.
Oct. 15: End of first grading period
Band and choir pictures will be taken during the day, 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Oct. 18: Band and Choir Fall Concert, cafetorium, 7 p.m.
Oct. 19: Senior picture retakes
CHS Band travel to DePauw University for Putnam County Band Festival, 9 a.m.-3 p.m.; concert at 7 p.m.
Oct. 20: FFA will travel to National Leadership Conference in Indianapolis
Herff Jones cap and gown presentation, café, 8:10 a.m.
Oct. 21: FFA travel to Indianapolis for Service Work Day, 8 a.m.
Teen Speak will meet in room 6, fifth period
Oct. 22: Fall Break, no school
Oct. 25: 21st Century Scholars will meet in cafetorium, 7 p.m.
Oct. 26: Herff Jones during lunch for cap and gown orders
Oct. 28: National Guard representative will be in the café, lunch
Oct. 29: Teen Speak will meet in room 6, sixth period
