GMS, South Putnam battle in cross country

GREENCASTLE -- The Greencastle Middle School cross country teams ran at South Putnam Tuesday.

Leading the way for the boys was Elijah Brattain in first, followed by Taylor Secrest in second and Sedrick Weinschenk in fourth place. Jacob Lewis was fifth and Nathan Grzeseik was seventh.

Hannah Brattain was first for the girls and Libby Brush was second on the night. Sammy Haynes placed third, Lily Spencer was fourth and Bailey Laussee was 10th.

The Tiger Cubs will be back in action Thursday against North Putnam.
