GREENCASTLE -- A would-be robber attempted to hold up the Clark station on Washington St. in Greencastle between 7 and 8 p.m. Friday evening.

While the Greencastle Police Department is releasing few details at this time, GPD Chief Tom Sutherlin confirmed a male subject wearing all black clothing, including a black hooded sweatshirt, attempted to rob the station. No cash was taken.

The suspect left the store heading south and remains at large.
