Canaan Community Church hosts harvest festival

Wednesday, October 13, 2010

COATESVILLE -- Canaan Community Church will present its harvest festival from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday at the church, 3517 North CR 800E, Coatesville.

Events will include music, games, tractor rides, face painting, a chili cook-off and trick-or-treat hosted by mystery Bible characters. Admission is $5 for one person or $15 for families of any size.

Everyone is welcome. The purpose of the festival is to raise funds to help Canaan carry out different projects in the community.

This year, in partnership with other churches, Canaan has taken on the ministry of raising support for Soup 4 Souls, an event hosted by Cityview Christian Center (http://www.indycityview.com/Site/Welcome.html). Soup 4 Souls provides a full Thanksgiving dinner to 150 truly needy families.
