Putnam County Sheriff's Department

* Oct. 15, 5:17 p.m.: Tina M. Pruitt, 38, Russellville, was preparing to pull out of a driveway on US 231 in a 2003 Dodge when she saw the 1999 Mazda driven by Matthew R. Rockey, 22, Bloomfield, approaching from the north. Pruitt thought she had enough time to pull out in front of Rockey and head south, but as she began to pull out, her wheels spun in the gravel driveway. Her vehicle caught traction and she pulled out onto the highway, where she was rear-ended. Rockey said as he approached the driveway, Pruitt pulled out, and he could not avoid a collision.

Rockey's vehicle towed by Kenny's. Damage $10,001-$25,000.

* Oct. 21, 5:45 a.m.: Dustin R. Brown, 27, Greencastle, was eastbound on SR 240 in a 2006 Ford F250 when a deer ran in front of his vehicle. He could not avoid the collision.

Damage $2,501-$5,000.

Putnam County Jail

Zackary Allen McClain, 20, Greencastle: Battery with bodily injury, strangulation, other offenses, Oct. 21, 2:20 a.m.

Anthony Moran, 23, Centerpoint: Probation violation, Oct. 22, 9 a.m.

Salah Salah, 28, Roachdale: Domestic battery, battery with bodily injury, Oct. 21, 2 a.m.

Greencastle Police Department

* Oct. 22, 5:55 a.m.: Tommie Clayton, 58, Crawfordsville, was southbound on US 231 just north of the viaduct when a deer ran in front of his vehicle and he could not avoid the collision.

Vehicle towed by Walt's. Damage $2,501-$5,000.

Oct. 21, 8:34 p.m., Captial Dr.: Andrew Ensor, 22, Greencastle, driving while suspened with prior.

Oct. 22, 1:45 a.m., S. Jackson St.: Jessica P. Goss, 23, Bainbridge, driving while suspended.

Greencastle Fire Department

Oct. 20, 4:44 p.m.: Possible structure fire with M adison Township at 8563 N. CR 300S. Disregarded by Madison Township at 4:47.

Oct. 21, 3:06 p.m.: Medical assist at 210 W. Columbia St. Disregarded by Operation Life 3:08 p.m.

Oct. 21, 5:36 p.m.: Active alarm at the Inn at DePauw, 2 W. Seminary St. Accidental set off at pull station. Cleared 6 p.m.
