Father-daughter pair to be featured in exhibit
GREENCASTLE -- The Putnam County Museum will have an opening reception of an art show featuring father and daughter artists David and Jennifer Herrold at 7 p.m. Nov. 11.
David Herrold, a retired DePauw University ceramics professor, has used his talent and skills in various media over the years, including wood, photography and digital media. Currently, David enjoys working from two studios, wood and ceramics, in Greencastle.
He is going to showcase his wooden furniture and functional and decorative pottery sculptures in the museum's exhibit, which will also feature David's daughter, Jennifer Herrold's art.
Jennifer Herrold is a painter/designer who enjoys telling stories through her colorful paintings, illustrations and murals. Her art has been exhibited in various galleries across the county.
"I generally do not paint to match the couch, but if it happens to, all the better," she said of her work.
