GREENCASTLE -- The Putnam County Museum will have an opening reception of an art show featuring father and daughter artists David and Jennifer Herrold at 7 p.m. Nov. 11.

He is going to showcase his wooden furniture and functional and decorative pottery sculptures in the museum's exhibit, which will also feature David's daughter, Jennifer Herrold's art.

  • Are they really from Greencastle/Putnam County or DePauw move-ins?

  • I went to school with Jennifer's older brother Ryan here in Greencastle. They are from Putnam County and are good people.

  • Hazel, are you saying that only people born in Putnam County can be considered "Putnam Countians"? Really? My daughter moved here when she was 2 days old -- does that count?

  • The Herrolds are great people(and some of my favorite customers at Chief's)...who cares if they are "really from Greencastle/Putnam County or DePauw move-in's". I've lived in this community for over 20 years now and I am still considered an "outsider" by many (and so are our children who where all born here!)...SHAME on those of you who think this way! Congrats Mr.& Mrs. Herrold and Jen, of course...so proud to see such great people recognized in our community!
