Clara O. Wilbur

Mrs. Clara O. Wilbur, 77, of Greencastle, passed away Saturday, Oct. 30, 2010 at Hickory Creek at Sunset.

Born April 16, 1933 in Greencastle, she was the daughter of Jesse and Irene (Gleason) Richardson.

She was a graduate of Greencastle High School.

Clara had enjoyed working at the John Woods Nursery in Reelsville and bartending at Windy Hill Country Club, V.F.W. and Elks Lodge. She had previously worked as a waitress and several years at P.R. Mallory's.

She was a member of the V.F.W., Elks Lodge, Moose Lodge and the Eagles Lodge in Greencastle.

Survivors include her daughter, Tina Ogden of Greencastle; granddaughters, Brenda and Brandy Ogden; brothers, Floyd Richardson of Mooresville, Earl Andrew Richardson of Greencastle and Dennis Richardson of California.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Wilbur; parents; a brother, John Richardson; and a sister, Margie Wilson.

Memorial services will be held at the V.F.W. in Greencastle at a later date.
