Evelyn Pearl West

Evelyn Pearl West, 96, Sandusky, Mich., formerly of Fillmore, passed away Saturday, Oct. 30, 2010 at her residence.

She was born Dec. 23, 1913 in Greencastle to Ernest and Myrtle Long Rushton.

Evelyn had been a homemaker.

She is survived by her daughter Sherry Thomas (Craig) of Sandusky, grandchildren Ryan Thomas and Dawne Thomas and brother Ray Rushton.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Basil Emmett West, four brothers and one sister.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday at Hays Funeral Home, Coatesville, with calling from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday. Burial will be in Stilesville Cemetery.
