Cloverdale Zoning Board hearing planned for Thursday

The Cloverdale Board of Zoning Appeals will hold a public hearing at 7 p.m. Thursday at the Cloverdale Town Hall.

The purpose of this hearing is for any appeals presented from the notified public concerning the board's decision.

Toy program has begun

The Putnam County Senior Center's Toys for Kids program is now underway.

Donations of toys will be accepted at the center through Dec. 23. The program is to collect toys for children ages 0-12. Parents may choose one bag of toys per child.

The senior center is open 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday. For more information, call 653-8606.

Veterans Day program is Thursday

A Veterans Day ceremony hosted by the Greencastle VFW and American Legion posts will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. on the Putnam County Courthouse lawn in downtown Greencastle.

Toddler Turkey Time

The Greencastle Parks and Recreation Department and the Putnam County Museum invite all little gobblers to come and celebrate a kids Thanksgiving with stories, games, crafts and first Thanksgiving inspired snacks to end the evening.

This program is designed for those gobblers ages 2 to 6, but all are welcome to participate.

Limited space is available, and pre-registration is required. Deadline is 5 p.m. Friday.

The event will run from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Nov. 18 at the Putnam County Museum.

Cost is $5 per youth and checks should be payable to Greencastle Parks and Recreation Department.

Master degree is Friday

Cloverdale Masonic Lodge No. 132 F&AM will be having a Master Mason degree at 6 p.m. Friday. Work begins at 7 p.m. All Masons and their friends are invited to dinner.

Reunion relocated in Plainfield

The Cloverdale High School class of 1985 reunion has been moved to the Claddagh Irish Pub in Plainfield. The event will still take place at 6 p.m. Nov. 13.

Class members should contact Pam (Conner) Williams at 721-1300 to RSVP.

Monthly breakfast planned for Friday

The Reelsville Volunteer Fire Department will hold its monthly breakfast from 7 to 11 a.m. Nov. 13. Biscuits, gravy, pancakes, eggs, bacon and sausage will be served.

Spaghetti dinner set for Friday

A spaghetti dinner and basket auction will be held Friday at Tzouanakis Intermediate School from 5 to 7 p.m.

Admission is a monetary donation or unwrapped toy. Proceeds will go to New Hope Fellowship to support its annual Christmas Store
