Judith E. 'Judi' Cook

Judith E. "Judi" Cook, 66, Reelsville, passed away Thursday, Nov. 11, 2010 at the Indiana University Medical Center in Indianapolis.

Born March 8, 1944 in Greencastle, she was the daughter of Charles G. "Bill" & M. Louise (Shaner) York.

She was a graduate of Reelsville High School. She married R. Daniel "Dan" Cook on June 24, 1961, and he survives.

Mrs. Cook had been a homemaker and worked for 17 years as a secretary with the youth minister for the First Christian Church of Brazil. She was a member of the Cloverdale Christian Church.

Survivors include her husband; children, Mary Beth McKinney (Steven) of Reelsville, Lori A. Siddons (Perry) of Greencastle, Traci D. Boyce (Shawn) of Fillmore and Dan Cook, Jr. (Tina) of Reelsville; two brothers, Jack York and Charles E. York of Greencastle; two sisters, Patricia "Pat" Stitzle (Henry) and Kay Fislar (Jerry), both of Reelsville; 10 grandchildren; and a great-granddaughter.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday at the Hopkins-Rector Funeral Home with Ministers Chris Gregg and Carl Huxford officiating. Burial will follow at the Boone-Hutcheson Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 3 to 7 pm on Sunday, Nov. 14.
