Chamber lunch designed to start business dialogue

Monday, November 15, 2010

The Greater Greencastle Chamber of Commerce is hosting its quarterly luncheon Tuesday, Dec. 7. The luncheon will take place at the Putnam Inn at 400 N. Jackson St.

There will be a presentation from Steve Bahr of Duke Energy at the luncheon called "Energy Issues." Bahr will discuss climate change legislation, aging energy infrastructure, energy efficiency and price rates. The presentation will last 20 minutes. Bahr hopes to start a dialogue about energy issues that are affecting consumers today and will impact our future for years to come. He is trying to make the talk comprehensive and easy to follow.

People or groups interested in taking part in the luncheon should register by Friday, Dec. 3. For more information, contact Tammy Amor at the Chamber of Commerce by e-mail at gchamber@gogreencastle.com or by phone at 653-4517.
