Baird

INDIANAPOLIS -- House Republican Speaker Brian C. Bosma (R-Indianapolis) has announced committee members for the Indiana House Republican caucus. Committee chairmen and caucus leaders are selected biennially by the majority party after each election year.

In 2011, Rep. Jim Baird (R- Greencastle) will serve on the Agriculture and Rural Development and Ways and Means committees.

Standing committees are an integral part of the legislative process. Committees with specific expertise receive public testimony and work out the details of proposed legislation before it is heard on the House floor.

"I look forward to serving the people of Indiana in these committee placements," said Rep. Baird.

  • Dagnabbitt----> your comment on this article is not even logical, there is no excuse being stated. I am tired of all the politicians, but even more tired of the naysayers like you. Do you even know for sure you email was received? Why does everyone jump to negative assumptions anymore?

Can't we all just get along and try to make this a better place for everyone? He has been elected by the majority so we all have to work with him. Which is not a bad thing he is a great man.
