TERRE HAUTE -- The Wabash Valley Football Coaches Association recently had their annual meeting and bestowed its Coach of the Year honors on North Putnam's Greg Barrett and Steve Weber from Linton-Stockton High School.

They will be the head coaches for this year's WVFCA All-Star game to be played June 25 at ISU's Memorial Stadium.

Barrett will be at the helm of the North squad. He led his North Putnam team to a 14-1 record this year with their only loss being in the Class 2A state finals against Fort Wayne Luers.

Barrett has amassed a record of 33-5 in four years at North Putnam and led the Cougars to its first semi-state win in school history.

Weber will head the South squad for the third time. He led his Linton-Stockton squad to a 9-3 record this past season.

The list of players participating in this year's game will be released soon by the WVFCA.
