Rosetta J. Hoskins

Rosetta J. Hoskins, 74, of Greencastle, passed away on Wednesday, Jan. 12, 2011. She was born on July 24, 1936 in Greencastle to Russell W. Beams and Mary Jane Alexander Beams.

Mrs. Hoskins had attended First Assembly of God in Greencastle and retired from F.B. Distro in Greencastle.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Pearl Hoskins, Jr.; siblings, Lovica Varvel, Russell L. Beams, Lola F. Murphy, Hulda Parrish, Chester L. Beams and Melvin E. Beams.

Surviving are her children; Clinton Hall of Greencastle, Patsy Chapman and husband, Scott of Manhattan, Kan., Lori Young and husband, Dan of Brazil and Dave Hall and wife, Linda of Greencastle; five grandchildren, Corey Young, Leah Walton, Brittney Hall, Christopher Young and Cody Young; one great-grandson, Braylan Allen Chessiar; siblings, William Beams and wife, Dorothy, Georgia Craig, Richard W. Beams and wife Mary Ellen, and Patricia L. Turner and husband, Ron.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday at 5 p.m. at Bittles and Hurt Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 2 p.m. until time of services.
