Putnam County Sheriff's Department

* Jan. 3, 7:47 p.m.: Anne M. Gray, 41, Fillmore, was on CR 475E in a 2009 Pontiac G6 when she hit a groove in the ice, causing her to leave the road on the right side and hit a fence post.

Damage $1,001-$2,500.

* Jan. 24, 2:45 p.m.: Patricia J. Coffman, 58, Roachdale, was northbound on CR 100E approaching the intersection of CR 800N in a 2009 Chevrolet Impala. Just prior to the intersection, she lost control on the ice. The car spun to the right and struck a ditch head on.

Damage $1,001-$2,500.

* Jan. 28, 11:50 a.m.: Macey Wright, 17, Greencastle, was eastbound on CR 225S, east of CR 375W, in a 2000 Volkswagen Jetta whens he lost control due to snow and ice on the road after rounding a curve. Vehicle traveled off the north side of the road and into a ditch, striking a culvert with the rear passenger side tire area.

* Jan. 31, 5:20 p.m.: Richard Fields, 56, Spencer, was westbound on CR 250S in a 2004 Hyundai when he lost control due to surface conditions, causing him to leave the roadway and hit a mailbox.

Damage $2,501-$5,000.

* Jan. 31, 8:51 p.m.: James D. Woodruff, 34, Dry Prong, La., was eastbound on I70 in the left lane in a GMC Savanna G2500 when he lost control due to ice. The van clipped the guardrail and shot across the right lane and into a ditch where it hit a concrete slab and embankment.

Damage $5,001-$10,000.

* Feb. 2, 2 p.m.: Ronnie L. Campbell, 28, Greencastle, was driving into his driveway at 5620 West CR 375N in a 2007 Ford Explorer registered to the Putnam County Sheriff's Department. The driveway was a sheet of ice, and he slid into the house. Very little damage was done to the vehicle, but there was damage to the house.

Damage $1,001-$2,500.

* Feb. 2, 3:05 p.m.: Ronald B. Love, 24, Greencastle, was northbound on CR 675E in a Ford F150 approaching a southbound vehicle was not in its own lane of travel, causing him to leave the roadway and strike a power pole. Love was able to drive the truck home. The ople had minor damage.

Damge $2,501-$5,000.

* Feb. 2, 4:42 p.m.: Christopher Benell, 29, Indianapolis, was trying to get into a driveway on Longcastle Dr. in a 2010 Chevrolet ambulance registered to Operation Life. Benell could not make it all the way up the driveway. He put the ambulance in reverse, but could not control it due to ice, causing the vehicle to slide into a 2005 Ford registered to Greencastle Police Department that was parked on the side of the road.

Damage $1,001-$2,500.

* Feb. 3, 3:44 a.m.: Debbie L. Terhune, 46, Fillmore, was eastbound on CR 100N in a 2006 Pontiac Torrent and slid off the ice-covered roadway, striking a telephone box.

Damage $1,001-$2,500.

* Feb. 3, 6:20 a.m.: Kenneth J. Rozelle, 49, Coatesville, was going slow on CR 200N because of surface conditions, but his 2006 Chevrolet began to slide. He attempted to correct the skid but was unable, ending up in a ditch.

Towed by Everetts Auto. Damage $1,001-$2,500.

* Feb. 3, 3;38 p.m.: Emily H. Smedra, 21, Longmont, Colo., was eastbound on I70 in a 2008 Hyundai Elantra when she tried to merge from the left lane to the right. Ice had built up between the lanes, which caused her to lose control and slide sideways into the south guardrail.

Towed by Steele's. Damage $2,501-$5,000.

Feb. 3, 5:30 p.m., Indianapolis Rd.: Heather Sarany, 31, Greencastle, no proof of financial responsibility.
