Tiger Cubs take down Clovers

GREENCASTLE -- The Greencastle girls' eighth grade A-team (4-0) defeated Cloverdale 45-13 Tuesday.

The Tiger Cubs were led by Callan Taylor with eight points, while Jessica Lenihan added six. Sydney Stuckwisch and Lauren Bridgewater scored six, with Taylor Stoltey, Delanie Stoltey and Sydney Smiley scored four points each.

Sammy Newcomer, Tera Amis and Sydney Secrest chipped in two points each for GMS.

Cloverdale's Maddie Smith scored six points to led the Clovers' charge. Bailee Stevens scored five and Kimmy Winders added two points.

Greencastle will host Cascade in a seventh/eighth grade A-team only contest today. The seventh game tips off at 5:30 p.m.
