South Putnam splits in tri-meet, Cloverdale falls by a point to Warriors

GREENCASTLE -- The South Putnam Junior High wrestling team defeated Rockville Wednesday 75-27, but fell to Greencastle in a three-way meet.

Recording wins for the Eagles were Kieffer Vittetow, Jacob Lorimer, R.J. Spedy, Dakota Cutshaw, Andrew Ballard, Collin Berry, Colten Bunten, Zane Crosby, Matt Parker, David Maginity, Dakota Bunten, Phillip Williams, Joey Masters and Dayzch Sutche.

Winning in B-team competition were Johan Sanders, Nathan Sheets, Jesse Owen, Ballard and Dakota Bunten.

Against the Tiger Cubs, the Eagles fell to GMS 52-42. Winner for South Putnam were Vittetow, Speedy, Berry, Colten Bunten, Crosby, Ballard and Masters.

CLOVERDALE

The Cloverdale Middle School wrestling team fell to Danville 55-54 in a tight contest Monday.

Winning for the Clovers were Jacob Roberts, Jacob Boldman, Zoe Frank, Max Secrest, Jake Waycott, Colten Wilkes, Ethan Boyd, Jacob Gibson, Bill Petrosky and Clayton Byrd.

Michael Frank was a winner for Cloverdale in a reserve match. The wrestler of the meet was Jacob Gibson.
