Patricia Rose Ewing

Patricia Rose Ewing, 81, Greencastle, passed away on Saturday, March 19, 2011.

She was born on Nov. 12, 1929 in Brazil to Harold R. Hoopingarner and Donita Rose Summers Hoopingarner.

Mrs. Ewing was a longtime secretary at DePauw University and was a member of the VFW Auxiliary, American Legion Auxiliary and Putnam County Coin Club.

Surviving are her daughters Stephanie Skinner and husband Jim of Greencastle and Susan Ewing of Greencastle; brother Harold Hoopingarner and wife Marion of Indianapolis; two grandsons, Jesse Skinner and Jacob Skinner; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Charles J. Ewing and brother Ronald Hoopingarner.

Services and interment will be private.
