GMS splits with North Clay

The Greencastle Middle School coed track teams split with North Clay Tuesday. The boys' won 56-53, while the girls fell 59-50.

For the boys, Elijah Brattain won the 2,400-meter run in a time of 8:32 and the 400-meter dash in 59.3. Taylor Secrest won the 1,600-meter run in 5:12 and the 800-meter run in 2:23. Greencastle was also able to win the 1,600-meter relay in a time of 4:10.5.

The girls team won five events on the night, with Libby Brush winning the 2,400-meter run in 10:01 and Callan Taylor winning the high jump with a height of 4-5. Hannah Brattain was first in the 1,600-meter run with a time of 6:04 and Corrie Romer won the 400-meter dash in 1:08.45
