Tiger Cubs roll to win over Cascade, Monrovia

CLAYTON -- The Greencastle boys' golf team continued its successful season after defeating Cascade and Monrovia Thursday at Deer Creek Golf Course.

Brad Haussin led the Tiger Cubs with a low-round of 37, with Jim Wheeler adding a 38. Raymond Stinson shot a 40 and Luke Brotherton carded a 42. Alec Davis shot a 43 for GHS, with Tyler Hopkins adding a 47.

"(It was a) good round by everyone playing the ball down for the first time weather permitting,' GHS head coach Steve Paquin said. "Brad, Jim, and Raymond had solid ball striking rounds while Alec had some tree problems and Luke had 19 putts, but had a very good fairways and greens stats. We continue to improve and our best scores are still ahead."

Greencastle will host Northview Monday at 5 p.m.
