City Police

A two-car collision was reported Wednesday morning by Greencastle City Police.

The mishap occurred at 11:25 a.m. at the intersection of College Avenue and Walnut Street as a 2011 Honda, driven by Patricia Tobin, 67, Greencastle, was eastbound on Walnut and a 1998 Chevrolet Cavalier, driven by James Hamilton, 21, Greencastle, was southbound on College.

Officer Darrel Bunten reported that the cars collided in the intersection, resulting in total damage estimated at $1,000-$2,500.

Sheriff's Department

* April 5, 4 p.m.: Justin C. Livesay, 22, Greencastle, was southbound on CR 50W in a 1995 Geo when the vehicle traveled left of center. Livesay tried to correct and lost control due to speed and gravel.

The car went into a ditch and hit a tree, coming to rest with the rear of the vehicle still in the roadway.

Livesay complained of no pain. His two passengers, Michael and Stephanie Gill, were both transported to PCM with minor injuries.

Damage $2,501-$5,000.

April 5, 5:59 p.m.: Alarm malfunction at 11 E. Larabee St. Cleared 6:14 p.m.

April 5, 8:07 p.m.: Medical assist at 1010 Castlebury Dr. Cleared 8:26 p.m.

April 5, 8:52 p.m.: Medical assist at 1216 S. Bloomington St. Cleared 9:01 p.m.

April 5, 10:43 p.m.: Alarm malfunction at 11 E. Larabee St. Cleared 10:53 p.m.
