Jerry G. Sheldon

Jerry G. Sheldon, 73, of Greencastle passed away on Tuesday, May 24, 2011.

He was born on Aug. 8, 1938 in Putnam County to Herschel Sheldon and Mary Ann Sutherlin Sheldon.

Mr. Sheldon retired from IBM.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Terry Sheldon.

Surviving are his wife of 51 years, Sharon; two sons, Herschel G. Sheldon and wife Melanie of Greencastle, and Stephen C. Sheldon and wife Melissa of Greencastle; two brothers, Larry S. Sheldon and wife Karen of Greencastle and Ricky J. Sheldon of Craw-fordsville; a sister, Sharon Meagher and husband Bob of Gosport; five grandchildren, Kyle, Cody, Nichole, Christina and Ben; and three great-grandchildren, Haley, Lucas, and Kyra.

Graveside services will be held on Friday at 11 a.m. at Forest Hill Cemetery.
