Sheriff's Department

* June 7, 10:35 p.m.: Linda M. Masters, 44, Danville, was northbound on U.S. 231 in a 2001 Ford F150. Her right tired went off the edge of the road and when she tried to get them back on, her vehicle went straight across the road and ran head on into the end of the guardrail. The vehicle then rolled to a stop back on the right side of the road.

Masters refused medical treatment.

Damage $2,501-$5,000.

* June 8, 2:51 p.m.: Kathrine C. Richardson, 55, Coatesville, was westbound on Indianapolis Road in a 2007 Pontiac Vibe, followed by Dawn M. Williamson, 51, Greencastle, in a 2004 Ford Explorer.

Richardson stopped halfway through the intersection with 10th Street and Williamson could not stop in time to avoid hitting her.

Damage $2,501-$5,000.

* June 8, 3:22 p.m.: Joshua B. Rubeck, 25, Spencer, was pulling out of the gas station at U.S. 231 and U.S. 40 in a 2002 Ford F150. As he was pulling onto 231, he did not notice Beth A. Williams, 47, Cloverdale, southbound in a 2012 Ford Focus in the left turn lane. Rubeck hit Williams' car in the door.

Damage $2,501-$5,000.

County Jail

Timothy William Pope, 47, Greencastle: Domestic battery, June 10, 1:11 a.m.

City Police

One arrest was reported early Friday by Greencastle City Police officers.

Thomas L. Gorham III, 31, Greencastle, was arrested at an Avenue D residence on Greencastle's east side at 1:46 a.m. by Officer Matt Huffman.

Lodged in the Putnam County Jail, Gorham is facing charges of battery and domestic battery.

A two-vehicle accident was reported at 1:42 p.m. Wednesday at Franklin and Jackson streets as a 2001 Volvo Semi, driven by Sulaiman Shreetah, 39, Oakland Park, Ill., was turning left onto Franklin Street from Jackson Street.

During the turn, the trailer portion of the semi, owned by Great Point Trucking, Bridgeview, Ill., struck a 2004 Audi, driven by Sheridan Harvey, 32, Greencastle, which was stopped westbound on Franklin at the Jackson Street stop sign.

Total damage was estimated at $1,000-$2,500 by GPD Officer Darrel Bunten.

Harvey was ticketed for driving with a suspended license.

A pair of traffic citations were issued to a teen driver Thursday by Reserve Officer Tim Smiley.

At 2:30 p.m., Zachary Smith, 17, Fillmore, was stopped on Manhattan Road for 45 mph in a 30-mph zone and for operating a vehicle without financial responsibility (no insurance).

June 9, 7:51 p.m.: Medical assist at 313 North Indiana St. Cleared 8:07 p.m.

June 9, 8:30 p.m.: Medical assist at 139 Woodhaven Dr. Cleared 8:38 p.m.

June 9, 8:33 p.m.: Medical assist at 162 W. CR 300 South. Cleared 9:16 p.m.
