Tiger Cubs, Clovers Kick Off Season

The football teams from Greencastle and Cloverdale got the season going with the Purple and Gray and Green and White scrimmages, respectively. First year Cloverdale head coach John Butler (above) instructs a player Saturday night, while Greencastle quarterback Nick Gilliam (top) looks downfield for an open receiver Saturday afternoon. Cloverdale also featured a series of youth football contests as well. Both scrimmages had a nice turnout from fans. Check out the online photo galleries from both events at www.bannergraphic.com.
