Cougars edge Tuttle

The North Putnam seventh grade football team defeated Tuttle 30-28 Tuesday.

Recording touchdowns for the Cougars were Max Haste with two, while Corbin Judy and E.J. Whitegate added a touchdown each.

Defensive standouts for North Putnam were Justus Laffin who recorded some nice tackles along with Haste. Laffin also had an interception.

Coach Lonnie Lawhorn said Haste had an incredible game on both sides of the ball for the Cougars.
