ROACHDALE -- The North Putnam volleyball team fell to Bethesda in four sets Tuesday 25-20, 18-25, 25-18 and 25-16.

Bethany Wiatt had four aces to led the Cougars, with Morgan Robinson adding 10 kills and Kallie Brattain adding eight kills. Robinson also had eight blocks on the night.

"Morgan Robinson had a great game tonight," Cougars head coach Jill Schreiber said. "She blocked, hit, passed very well. She has really stepped up her game this year. Has become a leader on the front row.

"Kallie Brattain, had another great game tonight," she continued. "Kallie is hitting well, she is seeing the court and able to dump the ball if she needs too. Kallie has also stepped up her game this year as a senior. Bethany Wiatt had a good game as well, she passed well and her serves really hurt the other team.

"We started out slow and just didn't play to our potential and couldn't get in the groove of our game. We will have a lot to work on as a team tomorrow in practice to get ready for Cloverdale Thursday in our Breast Cancer match," Schreiber said.
