HBG Insurance & Bonds expands services

The Greencastle Chamber of Commerce conducted a ribbon-cutting ceremony for HBG Financial Services, which recently have added a new division headed by Kelly Lewis. HBG Financial Services includes such investment products as mutual funds, equity products, senior products, and life insurance. In July of this year HBG Insurance & Bonds, a locally owned and operated independent insurance agency, opened HBG Financial Services.

In doing so, HBG now offers investment products, including mutual funds, equity indexed life and annuities. Additional services provided include financial, retirement and estate planning.

HBG has announced that Kelly Lewis has joined HBG Financial Services. Lewis brings more than 11 years of financial service experience and is prepared and committed to assist individuals as well as commercial clients with their financial needs. Lewis is a registered representative with securities offered through Sammons Securities Co. LLC and member FINRA/SIPC.

Lewis, a graduate of Purdue University, resides in Greencastle with his wife, Crystal, and their three children. Lewis is actively involved in many youth activities within the community and currently serves on the Greencastle School Board.

HBG also plans to enhance service offered to seniors. HBG Financial Services also announced that Phillip Asbell has recently joined the organization to provide products and services needed by today's seniors.

Asbell is a lifelong resident of Putnam County. He and his wife, Katherine, and their four children make their home in Greencastle.

He is immersed in the Greencastle community and has been involved in many philanthropic organizations. Asbell has served in Cub Scouts as cubmaster, coached youth baseball, served as a board member of Windy Hill Country Club, and is actively involved in his church.

Asbell received a BS degree in business administration from Indiana Wesleyan University, and has joined HBG Financial Services after 12 years in the pharmaceutical industry.

Asbell has a wealth of experience in managed care, durable medical equipment, and senior health. Licensed in life insurance, accident and health insurance, he is looking forward to helping others plan and prepare for their future needs.

HBG Financial Services is headquartered in the same building as HBG Insurance & Bonds at 225 E. Washington St. in Greencastle.
