Barry and Cheryl Webb

Immanuel Baptist Church, Greencastle, will have special meetings with Barry Webb Evangelistic Ministries Sunday, Oct. 30 through Thursday, Nov. 3.

Meetings on Sunday are 9:45 a.m., 11 a.m. and 6 p.m. Monday through Thursday meetings are at 7 p.m.

The Webbs are a family evangelistic team based in Cumberland, Md. Barry is the son of well-known evangelist Dr. Hal Webb. Cheryl Webb is the daughter of a Baptist pastor in Elmira, N.Y.

The Webs have a variety of talents. First, they are accomplished musicians. In their meetings they sing solos and duets. Cheryl is an excellent pianist. Barry plays the trombone as well as the baritone horn and flugabone horn.

Barry is also a ventriloquist and has more than 30 years of experience in the field of puppetry. He does all the voices for the 20 puppets that travel with the team in their puppet castle stage.

Some nights Barry will draw a chalk art picture, complete with background music, a dramatized story and colored and black light effects.

Cheryl conducts a nightly children's Bible hour during the preaching time featuring songs, verses, Bible stories and puppets.

All of their talents work together to point to the most important facet of their ministry, the preaching of the Bible, God's word.

With all these different ministries, there is something for everyone, young and old.
