One day that silver maple tree in your backyard is all ablaze in autumn wonder, covered in red leaves tinged in gold.

The next, after a windy, rainy November day in Greencastle, you're left with the skeletal remains of that maple tree to stare at out the window for the next four or five months. And just think, winter doesn't even begin for five more weeks.
