Albright Home on Tour

Thursday, November 17, 2011
The David and Sandi Albright home, 1908 Windemere Drive in the Edgelea Subdivision, is one of five houses on the 29th annual Delta Theta Tau Holiday Home Tour set for Saturday, Nov. 19 from 1-5 p.m. The Victorian style of the home has been maintained in its formal living and dining rooms with lace curtains and darker cherry wood dining furniture. The Christmas tree in the living room reflects the rose and gold tones of the room. Dining room colors accentuate a set of handmade "rice china" Sandi's parents purchased in Okinawa when she was a child. The family room's more traditional reds and greens feature Dave's "Christmas Carol" collections. Each of three spare bedrooms is themed in a way special to Dave and Sandi -- from the "man room" with sports memorabilia, to the "oriental room" that is home to a bed Sandi's parents designed and had handmade while overseas, to the "Charleston room" with South Carolina accents and Sandi's pharmacy collectibles. The master bedroom, matching the footprint of the living room below, is done in shades of blue. Admission to the home tour is $8 per person. Tickets are available at Eitel's Flowers, Treasures on the Square, Ambler-Hill Florists, Almost Home and Curves.
