Friday, November 25, 2011

Cloverdale United Methodist Church will be hosting several upcoming order dates for its new food ministry, Smart Choice Food Source.

Orders will be taken on Wednesday, Nov. 30 from 5-6 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 3 10 a.m.-noon and Monday, Dec. 5 from 4-5 p.m. All orders will be taken at the church in the fellowship hall.

Orders may also be placed by mail.

Smart Choice partners with churches, companies and civic-minded host sites to provide families and individuals with affordable food and to make a difference in their communities, one food box at a time.

Smart Choice has a unique process of bulk purchasing and central distribution points which allows it to provide substantial savings to individuals and families with its food boxes. This process allows the "Smart" box to nutritiously feed a family of four for almost a week or a senior citizen for nearly a month.

There are no income requirements, no membership fees and no pre-qualifications. If you eat you qualify.
