City Fire

The Greencastle Fire Department responded to a number of dispatches recently.

* On Monday, Nov. 21 at 12:05 p.m. personnel responded to an alarm due to cooking at 106 S. Spring St. Cleared 12:11 p.m.

At 3:51 p.m. GFD helped with loading patients on a two-vehicle motor vehicle accident at Shadowlawn and College avenues. Cleared 4:15 p.m.

* On Wednesday, Nov. 23 at 10:19 p.m. crews responded to a fire in the upper trunk of a tree at 107 S. Locust St. Cleared 10:40 p.m.

* On Thursday, Nov. 24 at 2:41 p.m. GFD assisted Operation Life with loading a patient at 410 Fawn View Lane. Cleared 2:54 p.m.

At 3:13 p.m. the fire department received a call of oven problems at 301 S. Jackson St. No problems were found. Cleared 3:25 p.m.

* On Friday, Nov. 25 at 9:35 a.m. crews assisted Operation Life at 607 Anderson St. Cleared 9:53 a.m.

At 11:18 a.m.. GFD performed a medical assist at 16 S. Arlington St. Cleared 11:32 a.m.
