Fuzzy Bear Preschool Ministry thanks soldiers

Monday, December 5, 2011

Fuzzy Bear Preschool Ministry of Ladoga recently held an event for 100 children, friends and grandparents to come together to make Christmas Trees for soldiers overseas. The preschoolers and their guests had to decorate a tree and each guest wrote a personal note from the child.

The trees, letters and picture of the child and their guest will be put together for some of the men and women who are stationed overseas during this holiday season.

The project gave the guests an opportunity to teach the children about how important it is to help others. The children are also hoping that one of the soldiers may have the opportunity to write back to them so they can learn more about what it is to be a soldier and what other countries are like.
