Girl Scouts plan sweet time at Cookie Rally Friday at GMS

Wednesday, January 4, 2012

Northern Putnam Girl Scouts will conduct a Cookie Rally Friday, Jan. 6 at Greencastle Middle School.

Girls will be able to taste all varieties of the 2012 Girl Scout cookies and learn what sales incentives are available. They will also receive their cookie order cards at the 6-9 p.m. meeting.

The girls also will complete a community service project, participate in games and crafts and receive a cookie rally patch for participating.

Pizza, chips and drinks will be provided.

Girls will need to bring two T-shirts for a tote bag craft (one for the girl and one white shirt for a community service project).

The Scouts will be collecting books, coloring books, bookmarks, crayons and stickers for a community service project at Putnam County Hospital.

For more information, persons may contact Katrina Asher at 522-1571 or kasher@tds.net.
