From the heart

Wednesday, February 1, 2012

The local Night Stocking group has struck again, just finishing a new installation that calls attention to Women's Heart Health. The all-red tree, its branches and colorful yarn creations combining to resemble the human circulatory system, is located in the east parking lot at Deer Meadow School in Greencastle. The Night Stocking group thought the school would be an appropriate location to promote the cause of women's heart health since two female Deer Meadow staff members have suffered heart attacks in the past two months. February is American Heart Month.

  • This is clever, uplifting, educational and inspiring stuff. Thanks to the Night Stocking artists! A burst of color and creativity sparkling through our daily routines can only be a welcome sight. And word has it, the young students love looking at it from the cafeteria inside the school.
