Championship game set for middle school

The Greencastle seventh grade boys' basketball team defeated South Putnam 57-30 in the opening round of the Putnam County Tournament Monday. Cloverdale defeated North Putnam and will face the Tiger Cubs in the finals tonight at 6 p.m.

In eighth grade action, North Putnam defeated Cloverdale 32-17 to advance to play Greencastle, who defeated South Putnam 41-23 in the championship game tonight at 7:30 p.m.

Both championship games will take place at Cloverdale Middle School tonight beginning at 6 p.m.
