W. Mitchell Price

W. Mitchell Price, 18, of Knightsville, formerly of Cloverdale, died Sunday, Feb. 5, 2012 at his residence.

He was born March 18, 1993 in Clay County, the son of William Darin Price and Laura L. Waugh.

As a little boy he played CYL football, YMCA basketball and baseball.

He played freshman basketball and baseball while in school at Cloverdale.

He loved being outside, fishing, hunting and riding four-wheelers.

For the past few years he had been playing golf as well. He worked at Clover Meadows Golf Course in Cloverdale last year.

He graduated from Northview High School, Class of 2011. He enjoyed going to watch the games at NHS and had a close group of friends at both Northview and at Cloverdale.

He was currently attending Vincennes University.

He was preceded in death by his great-grandma, Louise "Nanny" Martin.

Survivors include his mother, Laura Waugh (Mark Kybuiz) of Knightsville; his dad, Darin Price of Cloverdale; grandparents Tom and Ellen Waugh of Terre Haute and Bill and Julina Price of Cloverdale; brothers Tyler Price and Derek Nicoson; sister Nicole Nicoson and fiancé Dwight Riggen; aunts and uncle, Kelly Price, Derick Price and Stephanie Bollinger (Charlie); many cousins and a host of friends.

Services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday at Lawson-Miller Chapel with Pastor Jerry Campbell officiating. Burial will follow at Cloverdale Cemetery.

Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Wednesday also at Lawson-Miller, 1702 E. National Ave., Brazil.

Pallbearers will be Tyler Price, Derek Nicoson, Chris Arnold, Trent Montague, Cam Lumsdon and Chayne Bollinger.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family with envelopes available at the funeral home.
