To the Editor:

As we prepare to move back to Michigan after 30 years in Greencastle, we would like to pause and thank so many friends and special people in our community:

Our Immanuel Baptist Church family; Drs.Steve Kissel and Perry Wainman and their staffs; Dr. Helmer and the staff at Greencastle Veterinary Clinic; the Bright Futures colleagues -- Leslie Hanson, Jan Hodges, Phyllis Rokicki, Faye Cran, Wesley Smith and Mary Ivy; the many teachers and coaches our kids had at Greencastle schools, including Doug Miller, Trish Arthur Lowe, Stan Ward, Becky Greenlee (Go, Becky!) and Jim Spencer; the Banner Graphic for its great coverage of local, church and sports news -- Eric, Jared, Caine and Steve Fields; Jim Robinson and his staff at Muffler Connection for keeping ours and our kids' many cars running through the years; our local Kroger store (no Kroger in Michigan); Amanda Huber and her staff at Kuddles Kennels; the staff at Old National Bank; Dick's Barber Shop and Ken Finchum; and the staff at two of our favorite restaurants -- Casa Grande and No. 1 Chinese.

Thanks for the memories.

Bob and Diane Davies
